Pool coping can come in many different finishes and certain coping works better with other looks of pools than some. It’s all about finding that style of coping that works for your pool design. The price can vary massively with coping also. You can go for a less expensive finish that costs around 4 dollars a linear foot or you can spend up to 60 dollars a linear foot. Looking at the lower end of price for square foot value you are looking at a concrete coping linear which will run you around $6 to $10 per linear foot. While it is standard and still looks good if you are on a budget it can be a great option.

Paver coping is more in terms of pricing but it looks fantastic. There is a slight difference between brick and paver coping and that is all to do with the edge finish. Paving coping has what we a call a factory edge while brick is more of a round edge finish. Both serve their purpose of doing a great job in finishing off a pool area but it all comes down to personal taste and preference. The cost for paver finish is around $20 - $26 per linear foot. For the brick coping you are looking at a little bit more in price $25 – $29 for a linear foot.

Natural stone and travertine coping is beautiful but it’s up there in terms of price. If you are at a point where you have money to spend and budget is really not much concern then this is the ultimate poolside finish. Natural stone coping will cost around $34 to $60 per linear foot depending on the type of stone finish you go with or travertine. More unique stone will cost more; it is because it’s limited and more in demand hence the price tag.
